Pho Lodge: Authentic Northern-Style Pho and Asian Fusion in Hickory

The food is delicious and the prices are great! For $20 me and my husband feast and still have leftovers (which are surprisingly still great even after reheating them in the microwave). It’s a nic place with a cool vibe, definitely check it out!

If you're looking for an authentic Northern-style pho experience, Pho Lodge is the place to go. The restaurant serves a clear, aromatic broth made from beef bones, unlike the darker, sweeter, richer broths of Southern pho. The broth is so refreshing that you can enjoy it without any condiments. If you are super hungry, I recommend the P5, which comes with tender beef ribs, flavorful meatballs, and tripe. There are other combinations and sizes to choose from, so you're sure to find a bowl that you love. The customer service at Pho Lodge is excellent, and the space is clean and inviting. The menu is straight forward and simple. I highly recommend stopping by to try this delicious and authentic pho. The broth is made fresh every morning, and the restaurant closes once the batch is gone. That's what I call quality! P.S. By the way, the egg rolls and sauce is a must try as well! So good! Also, if you like spice, ask for the ghost pepper. It'll kick your Pho up a notch!

Wonderful Fresh Rolls with peanut sauce to start. The House Special Pho soup was more than I could eat for their L size(smaller one). Likely because I have devoured the entire two fresh rolls. Pho: A Delicate and complex broth,would not be complete without the fresh Basil, lime,bean sprouts and pepper. Enjoyed courteous, fast service and relaxing music. Thanks!

One of the Best Pho Spots I’ve Ever Tried! Pho is one of my all-time favorite foods, but where I live, there aren’t any restaurants that serve it. A few weeks ago, after visiting my eye doctor in Hickory, I stumbled across this amazing restaurant—and now, every time I’m in town, I make sure to stop by. Even if I don’t have time to dine in, I grab some pho to go! I’ve had pho all over the world—in Vietnam, the United States, Canada, Korea, Australia, France, Thailand, Laos, and Germany—and this place ranks in my top five pho restaurants of all time. The beef broth is incredibly clean and flavorful, so perfect that it doesn’t even need extra sauces like hoisin or sriracha. The fresh vegetables complement the broth beautifully, and the beef ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. I literally find myself thinking about them before bed. The restaurant itself is spotless and well-organized, with a warm and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I can’t wait to visit Hickory again just for this pho. Highly recommend the beef rib pho and a Vietnamese iced coffee to finish your meal!

This place should have a 5/5 review. I have never seen this tasty chicken pho and big chunks of chicken. The broth was clean and deep and the noodles were well cooked. I enjoyed the lively and friendly atmosphere here. I will come back soon again~~

So this was our second time trying Pho Lodge since they changed their menu. For appetizers, we got the fresh summer roll and papaya salad with chicken feet. They were both delicious! I was very surprised to see they offered it with chicken feet and had to try it. My boyfriend said this was his favorite spring roll he's had so far! I got the House Special Pho with seafood, and it was amazing. Broth tastes a whole lot better than the first time I tried it. My boyfriend got the chicken laab, and he loved it as well. We also got the Taro Bubble tea and Watermelon Bubble tea. That was great as well. <3

Great pho! The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I’m already a regular and I intent to keep coming every time I’m craving Pho.

The beef broth was so restorative and aromatic! We tried the House Special Beef Noodle Soup and split the Sausage Plate with sticky rice. Everything was exactly what we were looking for. Staff was very friendly and helpful during our visit. We can’t wait to return to Pho Lodge.
